In 1984 CO.FI.PLAST SRL started the production of diamond wires together with the development and the production of machines for quarrying and cutting different materials.
CO.FI.PLAST was the first company in the market to produce diamond wire with plastic assembly for granite. It came into this business due to a real need for cutting marble, granite and other stones without the drawbacks associated to traditional cutting methods such as: the use of explosives; the production and disposal of waste materials; the high production costs and production times; the mining problems; risks of accidents.
